At Abbeyfield Bognor Regis, we rely largely on the efforts of our dedicated volunteers as well as our experienced full-time staff. We have welcomed young and old to volunteer at each of the homes, taking time from their days to be a friend to our residents and providing companionship. Being a volunteer can very rewarding. It can also be extremely beneficial to the mental health of our residents, and for their general happiness, so we appreciate the huge input our volunteers have in our two homes every day.

Our team would be happy to provide those looking for voluntary work experience at Abbeyfield Bognor Regis with a great reference should you go on and pursue a career in the care sector having experienced first-hand what a joy it can be. From volunteering at Abbeyfield Bognor Regis, you will gain a range of skills and an enhanced CV, as well as friends for life. At either the Residential home or the Very Sheltered home, you can help our current volunteers and staff to make sure our residents have a brilliant quality of life and ensure no-one feels alone or lonely in our care. We have so many different personalised care plans, so you can rest assured that you will only be doing any work you are able and willing to do. This can range from helping us serve food to playing games with our residents. The days can be full of laughter and fun, but also have their serious moments.
